Compilations of whatever things i ever come across in my life.
I DO NOT CHOOSE TO BE A COMMON MAN - A NEW VISION
It is my right to be uncommon, if i can. I seek opportunity, not security. i do not wish to be kept a citizen, humbled and by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risks to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentives for a dole and I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existance! The thrill of fullfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cover before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid, to think and act for myself, enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world bold and say.. THIS, I HAVE DONE

PORTLAND...
I just came back from Portland today; the 2 boys will be there till next Friday. As most know, Ming and Loon are attending the ROV Pilot course with Global Marine in Portland. So far, they seem to enjoy the course and I am sure they are coping very well. They flew the ROV for the first time today.
We went to Portland last Saturday. Must shout a big thank you to Aunty Ann for driving us all the way there! And want to thank Aunty Lianny and Uncle Bryan for kindly lending us their Chrysler… we sure had a comfortable journey! It’s approximately 3 ½ hours drive from London to Portland. But Aunty Ann is very strong; we even walked almost half of Portland an hour after we reached Portland.
We rented a beautiful traditional Portland stone cottage. The cottage is fully furnished with a beautiful view of chesil beach, the beach is also a short walk away. PortlandPortland is famous for its stone, which was used to rebuild London after the great fire. The St Paul’s church was rebuild mainly with Portland stone.
will host the sailing event for the summer London Olympics in 2012.
The boys started their course last Monday… they were so excited that they forgot to bring their safety boots the 2nd day. There were 5 people in the course, both Ming and Loon, Neil (ex-RAF), Stuart, both from Scotland and Thomas. Met them once for a drink in Cove Inn, all very nice lads.
I had a good time myself in Portland. I first came to Portland back in December last year to have a look at Global Marine. Met Carly and the Global Marine team, they were very nice and I’m very happy that we remained good friends since. With little improvements in my cooking skills (thanks to observing the aunties cook), we had quite a few dinner cooked by yours truly. Loon must have said “Mai sia soi wa ah!” 10 times! Haha… He always said “Lang chiak liaw si tiaw!” (People will die after eating your food.)
The cottage owner Helen kindly cooked us a seafood dinner on Saturday. Her husband Maurice goes diving as often as he visits the toilet. Caught 5 lobsters and guess who’s most excited since Helen mentioned lobster dinner? Not me, not Ming… who else!
Had the chance to spend sometime with Carly and the team too. Good catching up session.
To our family back home and our friends back home and abroad, enjoy the pictures.
Seafood Dinner by Helen!
Global Marine is located in Portland Port, Castletown, Portland. It's approx half an hour walk from the cottage (Fortuneswell) to Portland Port.
First day to school...
Neil, Stuart, Loon, Thomas and Ming
Very lucky to have said hello to Sovereign. She has been sailing since Dec 08 when I saw her. Now she's back! Going to the Carribean next.

The dinner I cooked for Helen & Maurice. Full and alive still... phew!
